Delhi Jaipur Agra

The political capital of India, Delhi, makes up one of the cornerstones of the golden triangle in the country’s north. Delhi finds its genesis in the great Indian epic the Mahabharata, as Indraprastha, Capital of the Pandava princes, today the city has transformed itself into a new avatar. Reflecting the many colours and flavours of India’s extensive composition, modern-day Delhi is one where you will be inspired, amazed, fascinated and impressed at every corner.

One of the remarkable aspects of Delhi is the noticeable and touchable visibility of its yester years. Although urbanized, great slices of the city can still be defined as archaeological treasures and heritage sites., The reason for this is that between the 13th and 17th centuries several dynasties established their rule in different parts of Delhi, which added to the complex and rich past it offers.

The city of Agra is said to have been founded by Raja Badal Singh in 1475. The Hindu epic 'Mahabharat' makes a reference to the 'Agraban' the ‘Land of Lord Krishna’, and this is believed to have been Agra.The city was covered by forests at that time.

Although it began its journey early.The city rose to its peak, transforming into one of the greatest centres of art, culture, trade and learning, especially during the Mughals. The fundamentals of the first formal Persian garden were laid on the banks of the River Yamuna by the Emperor Babar. The mausoleum of Emperor Akbar, Sikandra, is also located just outside the city.

Jaipur with the backdrop of the rugged Aravalli hills of Rajasthan, is one of the most popular tourist attractions of the country. Jaipur, which literally means ‘The City of Victory’, was founded in 1727 A.D by the great Kachhawah Raja Sawai Jai Singh II. This ruler was a great builder, a poet and an astronomer. This beautiful township, giving shape to his creativity and imaginative aspirations was built under his guidance came to be known as Jaipur, and became a jewel in the Rajasthani context, which is the State Capital. Over time it was seen that the setting sun cast a pink glow on the walls and tenements of the city’s structures and it came to acquire the name ‘Pink City’.

Day 01
Cochin – Delhi
Meal Plan: Lunch-Dinner

Our representative will receive guests at airport. Arrival in Delhi- As you de-board your flight at Delhi airport, you will be getting a cordial reception from our staff and proceed to check in at hotel. Later we move for our first sight seeing in Delhi after Lunch. Qutab Minar is a minaret and "victory tower" which lies at the site of Delhi’s oldest fortified city, Lal Kot. Evening shopping drop and overnight stay with dinner.

Day 02
Delhi -Agra
Meal Plan: Breakfast-Lunch - Dinner

Morning after breakfast we proceed for Delhi sightseeing - India Gate, Parliament House, President House (Outer View), Jam masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Raj Ghat & Indira Gandhi Museum. After Sightseeing we proceed to get transferred to Agra, Overnight stay & Dinner at Agra Hotel.

Day 03
Agra-Jaipur
Meal Plan: Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner

Check out from the hotel to embark on a city tour in Agra. Starting with the most celebrated attraction of Agra i.e. Taj Mahal (constructed by Shahjahan for his empress), we watch the sunrising above this epitome of love. Further, we explore Itmad-ud-Daulah’s tomb that is also called ‘Baby Taj’ due to its resemblance to Taj Mahal. Moving on, a drive will convey us to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan where you check into a hotel for a reposeful night stay.

Day 04
Jaipur
Meal Plan: Breakfast

This day is fully devoted to exploring the pink city at its best. On the schedule for day 4 are Hawa Mahal- the exquisite palace with numerous windows, City Palace, Jal Mahal and Jantar Mantar- the astronomical observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II. Also, ascend on a hill while riding on an elephant’s back to see the Amber Fort from where you can get a panoramic view of Jaipur.

Day 05
Return Back to Cochin
Meal Plan: Breakfast

Checkout from the hotel and we proceed for Day 2 of Jaipur city tour . Lunch by own and proceed to Jaipur Airport from where you board a flight for the onward destination and take along with yourself loads of unforgettable memories.
